If you’ve seen our television commercials or heard our radio advertisments then you know Dennis Janofsky. He’s a man with a passion for gemology, knowledge of the jewelry industry and a sense of humor.
Graduate Gemologist
Dennis became a Graduate Gemologist in 1978. Graduating top of his class from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), he was asked to work as a staff gemologist grading stones in GIA’s diamond lab.
Experience
He later worked as a staff gemologist at the International Gemological Institute (IGI) before taking the head gemologist position for one of New York’s major diamond cutting firms. Dennis has worked with some of the finest diamond cutters on many of the world’s most important diamonds. He also has years of experience as a bench jeweler.
